  1. Money is like a drug. If used as needed it serves its purpose. If abused it will take over your life. Once basic needs have been met I don’t believe money has any bearing on happiness.

    1. True true, the trend of happiness increasing with a rise in income is as a result of basic needs being met. Once they have been met, money stops contributing to a rise in happiness. In fact, if care is not taken, it may result in decreased happiness.

    2. That’s extremely well said, Becks. I see some people who would do “anything” for money, regardless of what aftermath they cause – and that’s exactly how junkies be.
